Deadline for tournament requests is January 1, 2012. Requests received after this date will be subject to a $25 per age division late fee.

TOURNAMENT DIRECTORS, PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
Tournaments can only be classified as 'OPEN', 'B/C', or 'C'. Multiple divisions will not be allowed. Tournaments can be multiple ages but only one division
Sanctioned scrimmages can be multiple divisions and ages
OPEN tournaments can accept Class A or Class B teams. No Class C teams
Division B/C tournaments can accept Class B or Class C teams. No Class A teams
Division C tournaments can only accept Class C teams. No Class A or Class B

MASS ASA sanctioned ASA events MUST have a minimum time limit of 1 hour 30 minutes. No drop dead time limits allowed (except for
sanctioned scrimmages). Exceptions for weather will be allowed.

NOTE TO TEAMS :

In order to play in any of these MASS ASA sanctioned events listed below, your team must be registered as an ASA Travel Team. Massachusetts teams can download a travel team registration form by clicking on
the forms link above. Recreational League teams MUST register as an ASA Travel Team in order to play in MASS ASA Sanctioned Tournaments. This is to insure the ASA umpires for the tournament. Tournament directors
may click on the registrations link above to see a current list of MAJOASA registered teams. Effective in 2008: All teams are required to submit to the tournament director a current certificate of insurance and an ASA Championship Roster SIGNED by either an ASA Commissioner or State Junior Olympic Commissioner prior to their first game of the tournament.

Teams registered to play in ASA Tournaments in Massachusetts that are not listed on the MAJOASA website are advised that these are not sanctioned by the MASS ASA. Your team insurance may not cover you for participating in an unsanctioned ASA event nor are the umpires covered for working the tournament. Only sanctioned tournaments are listed on the MAJOASA site and each tournament will receive a sanction certificate that must be posted at the official tournament site.
