STATE TOURNAMENT ENTRIES NOW CLOSED

The deadline for entries into the 2009 MAJOASA State Championships has now past. Only those teams listed on the
RegisterASA.com tournament website will be allowed to participate.

Don't forget that a minimum of one coach needs to be ACE certified and be present on the field at all times with their card
and lanyard or their team will forfeit out of the tournament without a refund.


NEW FOR 2009
TEAMS MUST NOW HAVE A MINIMUM OF ONE COACH GO THROUGH THE ON-LINE NATIONAL ASABACKGROUND
CHECK PROCESS AND COMPLETE THE ON-LINE ASA ACE CLINIC.

TEAMS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO REGISTER FOR STATE TOURNAMENTS UNTIL THIS HAS BEEN COMPLETED.

IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT MORE THAN ONE COACH COMPLETES THE ACE CLINIC IN CASE OF SICKNESS,
INJURY OR EJECTION. IF THERE IS NOT AN ACE CERTIFIED COACH ON THE FIELD AT ALL TIMES, THE TEAM WILL
HAVE TO FORFEIT THEIR GAME WITH NO REFUND GIVEN.

ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED BY MAY 30, 2009. THIS MEANS ENTRIES MUST BE IN THE MAJOASA OFFICE BY THIS DATE, NOT POSTMARKED.

FORMAT WILL BE THREE GAME GUARANTEE USING THE OFFICIAL ASA BRACKET BOOK

A BLIND DRAW WILL BE USED TO DETERMINE SEEDS. ALL TEAMS MAY HAVE TO PLAY FRIDAY NIGHT

DO NOT ASK FOR AN EXCEPTION. THIS IS AN ASA CHAMPIONSHIP EVENT AND A BLIND DRAW MUST BE HELD.

CLASS B TEAMS PLEASE NOTE:

Per MAJOASA rules, Class B Teams that win the MAJOASA Class B State Championships are automatically reclassified as an 'A' team for the following season unless a waiver or appeal is granted. Please see the Class B Travel Team registration form for further details.

STATE TOURNAMENT DRAW INFORMATION
                       The 2009 MAJOASA State tournament draw will be held on Thursday June 11, 2009 from 630 PM until 830 PM at
                       the Plainridge Racecourse, Plainville, MA. Teams are asked to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to their scheduled draw time
                       to have their rosters reviewed, signed, and copied.
